Job description :
As an AWS Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our AWS cloud infrastructure. Your role will involve managing various AWS services, ensuring their availability, performance, scalability, and security. You will collaborate closely with other IT teams to support the organization’s cloud-based initiatives and provide technical expertise to optimize our AWS environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud environments, including EC2 instances, VPCs, S3 buckets, RDS databases, and other AWS services.
- Implement and maintain high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery solutions within AWS.
- Monitor and optimize AWS infrastructure performance, capacity, and costs.
- Implement and enforce security best practices in AWS, including IAM policies, encryption, network security, and compliance with relevant standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of AWS environments to identify and address vulnerabilities and risks.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (using tools like AWS CLI, PowerShell, Python, etc.) to streamline provisioning, configuration, and management of AWS resources.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to automate infrastructure deployment and configuration.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AWS-related issues, including incidents, outages, and performance degradation.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical problems.
- Create and maintain documentation for AWS configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide training and knowledge sharing sessions to internal teams on AWS technologies and best practices.
Experience : 1-2 Years
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Cloud Administrator, preferably with a focus on AWS.
- Strong understanding of AWS services and architecture, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., AWS CLI, PowerShell, Python).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Experience with infrastructure provisioning and configuration management tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and methodologies.
